Jerusalem residents decorate city with colorful menorahs
As part of the “Hanukkah Project”, professional artists and craftsmen helped them to create and paint the Hanukkah menorahs, which were then placed all over the quarter.
The organizer of the campaign, Old City resident Yosef Steinberg, wishes to attract tourists and interest them in the Jewish traditions and life of the Jews in the Old City.
This is the second year in a row that the “Hanukkah project” has been held, and the original menorahs that impress tourists the most are awarded prizes.
