Today, August 29, on Ukraine’s Defenders Remembrance Day, volunteers from the Kryvyi Rih Volunteer Community of the Hesed Hana Charitable Foundation/Beit Graham Jewish Community and Educational Center joined the patriotic “I Honor the Soldiers, I Run for the Heroes of Ukraine” race. The Kryvyi Rih Volunteer Community reported this.
Participants completed their distances in different ways: some took part in the run, while others joined a Nordic walking event. As the organizers noted, they were united by a sense of gratitude and respect.
The statement emphasized that every step taken during the event was not about sport or speed, but about remembering those who gave the most precious thing for Ukraine’s freedom, supporting their families, and demonstrating the community’s resilience.
