The First Bell ceremony was held at the Beit Menachem Lubavitch private lyceum in Kamianske. The event was reported by the Jewish Community of Kamianske.
During the event, the shofar of the month of Elul was sounded, videos of the Rebbe and the summer camp in Warsaw were shown, and a quiz was held. Greetings were delivered to the participants by Kamianske Chief Rabbi Levi Stambler and Rebbetzin Dina Stambler, lyceum director Hanna Salik, and Liza Belinska, director of the synagogue museum «א אידישע נשמה» («A Yidishe Neshome»).
The celebration also featured the sound of the First Bell, a photo session near a colorful photo zone and against the backdrop of the Beit Reuven synagogue, writing letters to the Lubavitcher Rebbe, receiving textbooks, the first lesson of the academic year, and kosher refreshments with a festive cake. The community described the atmosphere of the event as joyful and focused.
