President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has awarded Israeli politician, human rights activist and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center Natan Sharansky the Order of Merit, 3rd Class. This is stated in Presidential Decree No. 595/2022.
According to the document, Sharansky was honored for significant personal contributions to strengthening interstate cooperation, supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and making a substantial contribution to promoting the Ukrainian state internationally.
