French Ambassador Visits Brodsky Synagogue in Kyiv

France’s ambassador to Ukraine during a visit to Ukraine’s Central Synagogue in Kyiv

France’s new ambassador to Ukraine, Brice Roquefeuil, visited Brodsky Synagogue in Kyiv. Rabbi Moshe Reuven Asman reported the visit.

Asman wrote that he had the honor of welcoming the diplomat and his team, and thanked France for supporting Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion. According to him, they discussed the complexities of global politics, international influence, diplomacy and negotiations.

During the meeting, the rabbi showed the guests the synagogue and the gallery, which was opened a year ago by Jewish artist Albert Feldman. The ambassador, Asman noted, said he would be glad to see him in France. At the end of the meeting, the diplomat received a copy of Asman’s book Between Miracle and Reality.
