The Charitable Foundation “Historical and Cultural Center of the City of Uman” has published rules of conduct for pilgrims visiting Uman during the 2026 pilgrimage.
The statement says that during the curfew, from 00:00 to 4:00, people are prohibited from being outdoors or in other public places. In the event of a violation, the length of stay may be shortened, followed by a ban on entering Ukraine.
Pilgrims are also prohibited from purchasing or using pyrotechnic devices, including salutes and fireworks, as well as other explosive substances. It is also specified that pneumatic weapons, toys that imitate them, and laser pointers may not be used.
In addition, traveling through the pilgrimage area on scooters, motor scooters, quad bikes, and tricycles is prohibited. Pilgrims must carry their passports at all times and must not photograph checkpoints, military equipment, or military personnel, including with the use of quadcopters. During an air raid alert, they must immediately proceed to a shelter. Pilgrims must also strictly comply with the requirements of law enforcement representatives.
